Shop Pay is Shopify's express checkout and digital wallet. Buyers pay with the payment methods and addresses saved to their Shop Pay account, and Shopify processes the payment, whether you offer it in an app's checkout, through an agent, or in your own store's checkout.

Shop Pay in UCP

For platforms and merchants that speak UCP. The dev.shopify.shop_pay handler specification: how merchants advertise Shop Pay, and how platforms acquire a Shop Token and submit it to complete a checkout.

Shop Pay in Checkout Kit

For a checkout page that you run, in an app or on the web. Shop Pay opens over your page, completes the checkout at each merchant, and you never handle a token.

Shop MCP

For personal agents that pay on a buyer's behalf. The buyer connects their Shop account once and approves each purchase in Shop Pay, and your agent gets a one-time credential to complete checkout, even outside Shopify.

Shop Pay Commerce Component

For merchants that run their own checkout outside Shopify. Add Shop Pay to your existing checkout so buyers can pay with their saved Shop Pay details while Shopify handles the payment.
